In 2008, on the diverse and sometimes uncertain streets of Cleveland, Ohio a group of artists started meeting at M2K Studios in the Mt Pleasant neighborhood to later become RAW Dynamix. The brainchild of founding members DJ Mike Ceeze, San Goodee, and Keyo KonFuZion, RAW Dynamix has become a collection of various forms of artistry and creativity. The name was chosen carefully to represent all aspects of the RAW Dynamix experience. The R. symbolizes the Rhythm or musical portion of the group, the A. for the Art, and the W. for the Writing. The musical tastes and influences include Jazz, Blues, R & B, Neo-Soul, Rock, Alternative, and everything in between, but centers it all mainly in the Hip-Hop world (for those that don’t know all the above forms of music are integral parts of Hip-Hop). The Arts are influences by the urban graffiti, airbrush, photography, graphic design, and of course classical and modern painting through its constant collaboration with the NuBroSis movement. The writing is inspired by traditional and performance poetry, journalistic reviews of the music scene, and is looking to expand into other forms of writing such as fiction and non-fiction literature. RAW Dynamix prides itself on being a representation of the wide span of creative energy that exists in the Underground Music and Art scene.
